Privacy policy

EasyRentBooks LLC (“we”, “us”) runs easyrentbooks.com and sells landlord templates on Etsy and Gumroad. The short version: we only collect your email address if you give it to us, we use it only for what we said, and we never sell it.
What we collect
- Email sign-up. If you sign up for the free Schedule E Cheat Sheet, we get your email address (and your first name, if you choose to give it). Our email provider also records when and how you signed up and confirmed, as a record of your consent.
- Emails you send us. If you write to us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.
- Purchases. Etsy and Gumroad handle checkout and payment; we never see your card details. Their privacy policies cover your purchase, and they share the order details sellers need (such as your name and email) so we can deliver and support your order.
How we use it
- To send the cheat sheet you asked for.
- To send occasional emails with landlord tips and, now and then, news about our templates.
- To answer your questions and support your orders.
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share your email address with anyone for their own marketing.
Our email provider
Our email list is stored and sent by MailerLite, which handles it on our behalf (MailerLite's privacy policy). Like most email services, it can record whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. We only look at that in total, to see which emails are useful.
Unsubscribing and deleting your information
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and one click takes you off the list. You can also email [email protected] and ask us to remove you and delete your information. We may keep a note that your address unsubscribed, only so that we never email it again.
This website
We don't use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies of our own on this site. The fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address (Google's privacy policy). The sign-up form loads from MailerLite and may use cookies it needs to work. Our web host may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
Children
This site and our emails are for adults who own or manage rental property. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
